About the Grundy County Environmental Health Project

Our Organization
In early 2019 community members of Grundy County started to talk together about the concentrations and frequencies of cancers they were seeing in their families, churches, and neighborhoods. They gathered data, reached out to the state department of health, started meeting with a Vanderbilt professor, and formed the Grundy County Cancer Research Organization of TN.
Our Mission
This website was developed in response to questions that were raised by the Grundy County Cancer Research Organization. It is intended to be a community resource for studying patterns in the environment of our community.
