In early 2019 community members of Grundy County started to talk together about the concentrations and frequencies of cancers they were seeing in their families, churches, and neighborhoods. They gathered data, reached out to the state department of health, started meeting with a Vanderbilt professor, and formed the Grundy County Cancer Research Organization of TN. This website was developed to help identify possible explanations for the cancer clusters that are worrying the community and to enable scientists to design studies to test possible explanations.
